In loving memory ~

Ulbe Antonius Schoemaker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024. Born in 1930, in The Netherlands, Tony touched the lives of many with much love and laughter.

Tony was predeceased by his first wife, Masako Schoemaker. Tony will be deeply missed by his family, Betty Davison (Mike), Tony Schoemaker (Gayle), Mary Ivory (Gary), Ina Schoemaker, and Dorothy Hawkins (Dan). Tony was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren, CJ Davison (Shannon), Steven Schoemaker, Sean Schoemaker (Aland), Kevin Schoemaker (Rebecca), Rachel Resvick, Katrina Hawkins, Jared Hawkins, Keaton Davison, Cohen Davison, Harrison Davison, Leo Schoemaker and Frida Schoemaker.

Tony was blessed to join a second family later in life. He shared many memories and will be deeply missed by his wife, Rena Bedient, Dan Bedient (Connie), Lanny (Beaver) Bedient (Willa), and Debbie Gilnette (Rick). Tony was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren, William Bedient (Sara), Sarah Bedient, Brenner Feeney, Jackson Feeney, Virgil Bedient and Wayne Bedient.

Tony sailed the seas as a young man then in 1963 immigrated from Holland with his young family in tow. He lived in Port Coquitlam for many years and relocated to Princeton 27 years ago where he and Rena were active members in the community.

The family would like to thank Colleen (our sis), the home care workers and all the healthcare workers for their care and dedication to Tony over the last few years.
