A West Kelowna Warriors forward from last season was picked up in the third round of the NHL draft on Saturday, June 29.

Jack Pridham, who posted 48 points in 54 games during his rookie BCHL season with West Kelowna in 2023-2024, was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks with the No. 92 overall pick.

Pridham, 18, was the second BCHL player to be taken at the draft, hosted by Las Vegas.

The first, winger Logan Sawyer from the Brooks Bandits, was selected by the Montreal Canadiens with the No. 78 pick.

Pridham recorded 11 points in 10 playoff games with West Kelowna in the spring.

The Stoufville, Ont. product is committed to play at Boston University in the NCAA next season.
