Embarrassing so sue?

When I was in high school, I was walking around downtown Princeton with my friends joking and laughing and I walked right into a light pole. I don’t remember whether or not I hurt myself, but I do remember being extremely embarrassed. My friends, of course found the whole incident highly entertaining and tortured me for the rest of the day about it.

We need to speak up

I read a book recently based on the Holocaust and while fictional has many factual locations, dates and statistics in it that are riveting and horrific all at the same time. I did not know the details about the round up of the French Jews by their own police after the German occupation. The Vel d’ Hiver Roundup is a part of history that many French would like to forget, as they had a part in it that went beyond Nazi orders.

Losing yet another piece of BC history

Annoyed with misrepresentation of the facts

Last month there was an article in a local paper that referred to our garage with storage locker as a monster building. And although I acknowledge that it is a large building, it does comply with our current zoning by-law and has a valid permit.
